Update On My Life. The Condensed Version.

I haven't done one of these in quite awhile. (I think my last post was January). Mainly cuz I've either been too busy, too tired, or too depressed. Anyways, alot has gone on in the past 2 months, but I vowed not to spend alot of time writing on it so ima just give you a quick condensed version. For any further inquiries or questions, all my readers have my number, just call or text.

So without further adeau...ill start with February.

February basically consisted of work work work and more work. So much work in fact, that I missed all my meetings for that month, except for one. Well technically 2 seeing as how I quit my job right after they tried to call me in on the last Sunday of the month. Therefore I made 2 meetings. The previous being a Sunday I wasnt on call. I just got tired of it, I had reminded my supervisor about my meetings earlier in the month, and I was feeling a drain on my spirituality which needs all the help it can get. I had an interview already scheduled anyways the following Monday for a job at UNCW. (which I didnt get). So I felt good at the time, but even now I still don't regret the decision I made to leave.

So March...I marched right into, with no job. I had another check due to come in the first weekend, and it was quite large. I believe they put my last 3 weeks pay on it which included overtime out the yin yang. I had planned my vacation (while I was still working) on the second week of  March, to go to Washington DC for the big JW event DC Takeover. The plans had already been set in motion for me to go, rooms, rides, etc. so I went ahead and went. Had alot of fun, met alot of people including some who I only knew from social networks.

At the main event Saturday, me and this one sister kept winding up around each other over the course of the night, so I somehow (I was slightly tipsy) got her number.

Lemme tell ya. This sis is all that, and a bag O chips. She's from Baltimore. Look good, dress good, smell good, good convo (the first time I called we were on the phone 3hrs), good job, no kids, own house, is 29,  and she's on NO SOCIAL NETWORKS WHATSOEVER.

Pure awesomeness right?.......F.......M......L. 

I feel like a complete BUM talking to her with no job. Yeah I told her bout my situation and she understood it, but still. I think this will be nothing more than a friendship for now at least till im back on my feet.

Moving on......the rest of March consisted of me putting in applications, resumes, and signing up with temp agencies. None of which I've heard back from yet. My Dad contacted my Aunt in DC, to see if her offer was still there for me to stay with her and look for a job there for a few weeks in April. She was still agreeable to it, but she pushed the time back to the 3rd week in April. So basically if I havent found a job down here in the black hole of Wilmington NC or the blessed Raleigh (lol), by then, I guess ima try an see whats poppin up there. Meanwhile I gotta try not to go completely broke, till then. Oh....and I almost forgot that i've also been going out in service. Im not pioneering this month but I have been increasing my time. Busy, busy, month, my hall had the C.O. and the Memorial back to back this month.

Which brings me to this week. The last week of March. Today in fact. I've blogged previously about a young (legal lol) sister here locally whome I had taken out on a date of sorts. Afterwards, due to several different reasons, factors, whatever, we had been going through an awkward stage. Which kinda culminated last week in a text blowup on my end (she gets under my skin and I dont know why).  Well she hit me up Thursday. I really wasnt expecting to hear from her again honestly. At least not this soon. We texted off an on during the day, which led to us going out to eat today (GASP). She brought her younger sister this time, but a good time was had by all. I know this because she is texting me as I type this. I can't figure this girl out, but I am glad that the awkwardness is gone.

Well...that was more long winded than I intended. Ah well. What can ya do? Like I said, its been awhile. I promise my next blog will be shorter. And more lighthearted. It is now well into 2am, so with that, my niggas and nigglits, Ill say goodnight. Until next time.
